Pasta is one of my favorite go to (after potatoes) for a filling and quick meal. I often struggle with finding a good sauce to go with it. This simple garlic sauce is so delicious I had to share it! To sneak in a few more veggies in your day, get spinach filled tortellini's (or add in some of your favorite vegetables!).
tortellini of choice (preferably fresh) – I used spinach ricotta filled
2 large cloves of garlic
2 tbsp of olive oil
1 tbsp of butter
10 sage leaves, sliced thinly
Heat olive oil with butter on very low heat.
Add chopped garlic. Saute until garlic is soft, but don’t let it brown! (adds bitter taste)
Add sliced sage leaves.
Toss immediately with drained tortellini (leave a little of cooking liquid)
