I don't mean to brag, but my mothers salad dressing is in HIGH demand and for good reason! It is a perfect blend of light and creamy, with a tang to it from the apple cider vinegar. It makes you crave salads for lunch, when you know you get to drizzle this on top. This unique dressing will definitely get high praises from your dinner guests. If you want to keep this recipe all to yourself, I don't blame you! We all need that secret recipe up our selves to impress family & friends.
1 tblsp dijon mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 tsp onion powder
1 pinch curry powder
1 tsp each dried dill, parsley, chive
If fresh herbs are used double amount
1 small garlic clove pressed
2 tblsp apple cider vinegar
2 tblsp nut oil (walnut or a good olive oil are my favorites; I used sesame because that's what I had and it worked fine)
4 tblsp buttermilk
Salt and pepper to taste
Add all ingredients into a bowl and whisk until mixed well. Store in a container and place in fridge.
Enjoy with your next salad!
