Iced Hibiscus Tea with Mint

I just spent the last few hours giving my home a complete clean up! It feels good to do a "spring" cleaning, even though it always takes longer. Now I am afraid to eat or do anything to mess up the perfection (hehe). Seriously though I'm pooped. Does cleaning count as exercise? My back tells me yes.

As a refreshing reward for my hard work, I am glad I have some iced hibiscus tea in the fridge. It is my latest obsession. I love hibiscus tea but for some reason never thought to buy any (??). Anyways, I have some now and of course had to make an iced version, because summer. If you know me, you know I have to add mint to everything. It makes drinks instantly feel upgraded.

This is definitely no sweet tea. If you like your tea sweet, this might not be sweet enough for you, although you could easily add extra sweetener to it.

Where all my herbal tea lovers at? I never thought I'd venture away from the good ol' black tea, but here I am! Give this tea a try and let me know what you think!


  • 4 hibiscus tea bags

  • handful of mint

  • 1 tbsp (or more) mint syrup


  1. Bring 5 cups of water to a boil.

  2. Set water aside and add the tea bags. Leave them in there for 3-5 minutes.

  3. Add in the mint and syrup before pouring into a pitcher.

  4. Place pitcher in fridge until cool.

  5. Enjoy!
